The Grand Mufti of the Caucasus, Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh, has called the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict one of the most vulnerable spots at the Second Forum of World Policy in Istanbul, 1news reports.

20% of Azerbaijani territory was occupied by Armenia and a million refugees had to leave their homes. Global terrorism and separatism require consolidation.

Pashazadeh emphasized that burning the Quran in such respectable state as the US and evasion of punishment by the priest who did it lead to new provocations. Prevention of such cases should be carried out by a new structure involving religious activists, he says.
