Yudin becomes Commander of Russian Air Forces and Air Defenses in Southern Military District

The new commander has been introduced by General Colonel Alexander Galkin.
Andrey Yudin was born in Armavir in the Krasnodar Territory on April 2, 1962. He graduated at the Armavir Military Pilot School in 1983. He served in the Baltic and Far East Military Districts, the Soviet Group of Troops in Germany, the Western Group.
Yudin graduated at the Military Air Force Academy of Y.A. Gagarin in 1996, the Military Academy of General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces in 2010 and became the Chief of the Directorate for Military Training of Russian Air Forces in 2010.
He was the Deputy Commander of Air Forces and Air Defenses of the Eastern Military District since 2011.
