Over 30 people still treated after explosions of balloons in Yerevan

33 people injured by exploding balloons at the Yerevan center are still being treated, RIA Novosti reports.

They were injured at a meeting of the Republican Party on May 4. 154 people, including children, were injured.

Adrian Daigler, a professor of the Center for Plastic Surgery and Reconstruction Surgery and Burns of the University Clinic of Heidelberg (Germany), has carried out surgeries for 8 patients.

A criminal case was initiated over the explosion. No one has been detained. Ashot Agaronyan, head of the department for information and PR of the police, said that the people who filled the balloons and put them out have been found.
