International Georgian-Russian poetry festival begins in Tbilisi
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe festive events are starting today in Tbilisi, after which they will take place in Rustavi, Kutaisi, Poti, Batumi and Kobuleti until June 29th, RIA Novosti reports, with reference to the chairman of the International Federation of Russian-speaking writers Oleg Volovik.
More than 60 participants from 27 countries will take part in the festival, the main theme of which is the 65th anniversary of victory in World War II, so the motto of the festival is "A world of poetry is a world without war".
The organizers of the poetry festival are the International Union for cultural enlightenment 'Russian Club' and the International Federation of Russian-speaking Writers.
