Saudi Arabia interested in Georgian business
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaGeorgian parliamentary official David Bakradze has discussed cooperation in economy and business with a delegation of the Saudi Arabian Consultative Council, Trend reports.
It is the first such high-ranking Saudi Arabian delegation to visit Georgia.
Bakradze thanked the guests for supporting Georgian territorial unity and non-recognition of Abkhazia and South Ossetia as independent states. The sides agreed to continue development of interparliamentary ties, discussed the Middle East and encourage stability in the region.
Minister for Regional Development and Infrastructure Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Tbilisi Mayor Gigi Ugulava and Minister for Economy and Sustainable Development Vera Kobalia will meet the guests today.
The delegation will visit the Georgian National Museum, the Agency for Service of the Finances Ministry, the Lilo economic zone and the Foreign Ministry.
The Saudi Arabian officials will meet Georgian Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Alexander Khetaguri and then visit Batumi on May 24. They will meet Adjara Leader Levan Varshalomidze and Chairman of the Constitutional Court Georgy Papuashvili. They will visit the Justice House in Batumi and the Sarpi control post. The delegation will be on its way back on May 28.
