Railway blast in Dagestan causes delays

Several passenger trains have been delayed because of a blast at the Achi-Izberbash Railway at 8.13 am, RIA Novosti reports.

A carriage went off the railway. The police are investigating the case.

The Baku-St. Petersburg train N313 has been delayed for 1h 18 min. The Baku-Tyumen train N373 will start off at 3.17 pm, Moscow-Baku train N56 at 4.57 pm.

The Derbent-Makhachkala train N6691, N6695 returning from the Izberbash were cancelled. Passengers had to use road transport.
