Chechen leader announces new government

Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov has announced the new government, RIA Novosti reports.

Grozny Mayor Islam Kadyrov will replace Supen Lechkhajiyev as the Minister for property and Land.

Chairman of the governmental committee for youth affairs Murat Tagiyev has become the Minister for National Policy, Press and Information.

Deputy head of the Chechen Presidential Administration Hadijat Dulayeva has become the Vice Premier for social affairs.

Head of the Achkhoy-Martanovsky District Musa Dadayev has become the Vice-Premier and Minister for Agriculture.

Khasamgomed Khizriyev, Kadyrov’s assistant for construction, has become the head of the Ministry for Construction.

Deputy Grozny Mayor Khozh-Baudi Daayev has become the Minister for Youth Affairs.

The old Cabinet was dismissed on May 17. The new one was formed on May 24. Agriculture Minister Abubakar Edelgeriyev has become the Prime Minister. The governmental supervisor for social affairs Isa Tumkhajiyev has become the First Vice Premier.
