Iran to open consulate in Najaf soon

Iran plans to open a consulate in the holy city of Najaf, Iraq June 26, Trend reports.
The new Iran's consulate will be the fifth in Iraq.
Thousands of Iranian piligrims visit the holy sites in Najaf and Karbala every year. Najaf houses the shrine of Imam Ali (AS) the first imam of Shias.
