Construction of border facilities in Abkhazia and South Ossetia to be completed in current year

The leadership of the Border Services of Russia has promised to complete
the construction of almost all facilities of the border infrastructure in

South Ossetia and Abkhazia by the end of 2012, Yuga.ru reports.

The program on rebuilding the border infrastructure was initiated in 2009
and provided construction of 45 facilities, including administrative
facilities, offices and ancillary buildings with modern autonomous
systems of engineering and special equipment, special units and lines
of communication, security systems, as well as housing, and
entertainment centers for families of border servicemen and their
families.
