Georgian winemaking needs modern technologies in order to become competent on the world wine markets, Novosti Georgia reports.

He also noted that Georgia has already overcome the consequences of the Russian embargo on Georgian wine imports, due to control strengthening over the quality of the product. Saakashvili also noted that Georgia is going to invite European specialists, to consult with in establishing production of a European light white wine.
