Russia's Lavrov calls for fair investigation into Houla massacre

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called on Tuesday for a fair UN-sponsored investigation into the recent massacre in Houla, RIA Novosti reports.

The minister made these remarks during a phone conversation with UN special envoy to Syria Kofi Annan.

Minister Lavrov also underlined that Russia supported Kofi Annan's peace plan.
