Azerbaijani ambassador in Iran to arrive in Baku

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iran Javanshir Akhundov is on his way from Tehran to Baku, News Armenia reports.

Press secretary of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev said that the ambassador was summoned for consultations or for personal affairs.

Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Muhammedbagir Bahrami was called off to Tehran for consultations on May 22 after insults against Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei during anti-Iranian protests in Baku.
