Kabardino-Balkaria optimistic about tourism development

Kabardino-Balkaria approves the approach and concept of the Northern Caucasus Resorts State Company to develop a tourism cluster in Russia’s south and build the Bezengi-Elbrus skiing resort, Minister for Economic Development of the Republic Aliy Musukov said, commenting the committee of the Federation Council for social policy, ITAR-TASS reports.

Musukov notes that tourism facilities in the Elbrussky, Chegemsky, Chereksky and Zolsky Districts and state financing of infrastructure would bring investors.

He added that over 90% of the population in the Chereksky District, 98% in the Chegemsky District approve construction of the skiing resort.
