The Russia-EU summit in St. Petersburg will address the economic crisis in Europe, integration in the post-Soviet area, Syria and Iran, as well as other issues, a presidential aide said on Saturday, RIA Novosti reports.

The 29th Summit will be held on June 3-4 in Strelnya, a St. Petersburg suburb.

On June 3, the parties will “exchange views about the situation in Russia and the EU, including in the context of the efforts to overcome the consequences of the financial and economic crisis,” Yury Ushakov said.

On June 4, the summit will meet in a plenary session with the participation of “quite large delegations,” he said.
