Youth gymnasts from Baku comment on winning bronze medals at European championship

14-year old Nilufer Niftaliyeva from Baku, winner of a bronze medal at the European championship for free calisthenics, has thanked everyone for support at the competition.

She noted that the most devoted fans came from the Azerbaijani community from Nizhny Novgorod. Some came from Moscow.

14-year old Gulsum Shafizade, bronze winner of the European championship for exercises with ribbon, said she had been the 7th to perform and admitted being nervous. She plans more achievements to honour Azerbaijan, including attendance of the Olympic Games.
