Clinton arrives in Georgia

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is on a visit to Georgia today, Trend reports.

She will chair the session of the Georgian-US charter for strategic partnership at 9 am together with Georgian prime minister. They will discuss political affairs and elections. Working groups for defense and security, democracy, administration, economics, energy and trade and cultural exchange will meet.

Clinton will also meet opposition leaders of the Christian Democrats, New Rights and Georgian Dream. Bidzina Ivanishvili will not meet her.

The US official will attend the ceremony of presenting Georgia with two US motorboats for coastal guards. She will meet President Mikheil Saakashvili.

A concert will be organized for Clinton at night.

Clinton will leave Georgia early on June 6 and head from Batumi to Baku.
