Sharapova wins French tournament

Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova won in the French Open final on Saturday, RIA-Novosti reports.
Sharapova won the match with Sarah Errani 6-3, 6-2, denying the Italian the chance to add to the women's doubles title she won Saturday.
Sharapova has now won each of the Grand Slam quartet of the Australian Open, French Open, US Open and Wimbledon.
By reaching the final, Sharapova regained her title of the best tennis player in the world from Victoria Azarenka for the first time since her injury in 2008 which pushed her out of the top 100.
