Turkey’s Ekovitrin calls Mehriban Aliyeva First Lady of 2011

Mehriban Aliyeva, First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Fund, Goodwill Ambassador of the UNESCO and ISESCO, Azerbaijani MP, has received the First Lady of the Year for 2011.
Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Fund Anar Alekperov took the award from Ekovitrin owner Kyamran Abacioglu and Secretary General of the Islamic Cooperation Organization Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu. Ekovitrin is a Turkish economic and political magazine. It received over 251,000 votes for 34 nominations of 102 politicians, businessmen, artists and scientists. It determined the Stars of the Year.
Turkish Minister for Culture and Tourism Ertogrulu Gunai became the Minister of the Year, Ihsanoglu received the International Diplomacy Award.
Rectors of Turkish universities Moustafa Aydyn and Sezer Sener, owner of Calyk Inshaat Ahmet Calyk, Chairman of the Sisli Municipality of Istanbul Moustafa Sarygul and other officials received awards.
