The OSCE offers any necessary support for the parliamentary polls of Georgia in autumn, as stated by Eamon Gilmore, Vice Premier and Foreign Minister of Ireland and OSCE Chairman, at the meeting with Georgian Speaker of Parliament David Bakradze, Trend reports.

The OSCE has a mission monitoring preparations for the elections to compose a list of recommendations. The Irish official praised Georgian steps towards clarity of elections. Timely invitation of OSCE/ODIHR to monitor the elections gives experts an opportunity to evaluate the situation.

Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze noted the well-timed visit of Gilmore. Georgia needs activation of the OSCE mission to take part in political, economic, reformation, democratic and cultural processes.
