Miller reelected as Gazprom Neft CEO

Alexey Miller was reelected as the CEO of Gazprom Neft, the top 5th Russian oil company, on June 13, PRIME reports.

Miller has been in charge of Gazprom Neft since 2005. The new board of 10 people was elected on June 8. Olga Pavlova, head of the department for management of property and corporate relations of Gazprom, was not reelected to the board.

Alexander Dyukov, head of Gazprom Neft, Miller’s deputies Valery Golubev and Andrey Kruglov, board members Nikolai Dubik, Kirill Seleznyov and Vsevolod Cherepanov, deputy heads of departments Vladimir Alisov and Alexander Mikheyev have been reelected to the board.

Gazprom Neft is a subsidiary of Gazprom, owner of 95.68% of its shares.

Gazprom had a net profit of $5.347 billion in 2011, increasing by 70.6% compared with 2010, according to US GAAP. The company may increase oil extraction from 57.3 million tons to 59.6 million tons in 2011.
