Iran to increase wages for state officials

Iran will increase wages for state officials by 15%, Vice President for strategic planning and surveillance Behruz Moradi said, Trend reports.

Wages will increase in late June – early July.

Earlier reports said that the wages would rise by 14.3% due to inflation (exceeding 21.5%).

The Central Bank said that food prices increased by 50-156%. Prices for electricity, gas and water grew as well.
