Basel denies cancel of regular flights with Kuban

Kuban Airlines will continue charter flights in summer 2012 and winter, Gazeta.ru reports.

Kuban and Sky Express failed to bring expected synergy last year. Kuban needs investments to modernize aircraft and develop.

The fate of Kuban is to be resolved by the end of July 2012. Some solutions are to reduce the number of aircraft, unify them or close the air company. Basic Element is part of Kuban. Administration of the Krasnodar Territory considers Basel a partner. Kuban plans to halve its staff.
