Austria provides 11 million euros for ski resort in Georgia

Georgia has started the construction of a ski resort on the Goderdzi pass in Adjara with the financial assistance of Austria, Trend reports.

The agreement on the allocation to Adjara of 10.93 million euros for construction of the resort was signed by UniCredit Bank Austria AG in Batumi on Monday.

Austrian Bank has allocated an unprecedented interest-free financial resource for construction of the ski resort's infrastructure.

From the Georgian side, the agreement was signed by Minister of Finance of Georgia Dmitry Gvindadze, from the Austrian side by the Managing Director of the bank, Florence Werdisheim.
