Turkey to consider lifting sanctions against France
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaTurkey plans to lift sanctions against France, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said. The sanctions were initially passed in response to adoption of the bill on criminalization of denial of the Armenian Genocide, Trend reports.
Davutoglu plans to visit France on July 5. He noted that some people tried to spoil relations between the two states, but it was a “bad move”. The bill was passed by the French Senate. But the Constitutional Court of France scrapped the bill.
