Turkish plane shot down by Syria found

The remains of a Turkish plane shot down by Syrian Air Forces have been found, spokesman of the Syrian Foreign Ministry Jihad al-Magdasi said, Trend reports on Monday.

The official noted that Turkey and Syria have no confrontation. Syria had to shoot down the jet for violating the aerospace.

A Turkish RF-4E left the Erhac airbase in the Malatya Province on Friday. Radars lost it in about 1.5 hours after taking off at the Hatay Province. Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that the jet was in the international aerospace, but its remains fell into the Syrian territorial waters.
