Fraudsters acquire part of Kazakh Embassy in Russia

The Moscow police are investigating acquisition of part of a building provided for the Kazakh Embassy, Izvestia reports on Wednesday.


The Kazakh diplomatic mission lost 120 million rubles and a residence of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.


A report on acquisition of the building was registered in October 2011. The basement of house N1A on the Chistoprudny Avenue was acquired. The building was constructed in early 20th century.


A member of the Likom Center specialized in trading real estate purchased 75 square meters of the building. He received technical documentation for 642 square meters. Then, the man filed documents to the state registry service of Moscow.
