Georgian security to be discussed in Batumi

The Radisson Hotel in Batumi will host a conference on defenses and security, News Georgia reports.

Georgian security officials, members of government, NGOs and international organizations will take part. They will discuss security in Europe and South Caucasus International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), Euro-Atlantic security and challenges. The conference will promote dialogue between the military and the public.

The security conference is held twice a year under the auspices of the Georgian Defense Ministry.

NATO Deputy Secretary General Alexander Vershbow will join the conference on June 29.
