NATO official opposed to force against Syria and Iran

The head of the NATO Military Committee, General Knud Bartel, has urged the alliance in Tallinn to avoid use of force against Syria and Iran, unless there is no other solution, RBC reports.

Turkey started moving additional forces to the Syrian border after its jet was shot down by Syrian air defenses a week ago. Turkey says that infantry and tanks should guarantee security.
