TANAP to join Nabucco West

The Trans-Anatolia Gas Pipeline (TANAP) to supply Europe with Azerbaijani gas through Turkey will be connected to Nabucco West, Turkish Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz said, Trend reports.

Transport of Azerbaijani gas to Bulgaria through Austria is another version of the project.

Nabucco West has been chosen as the priority project to export gas to South-Eastern and Central Europe from Azerbaijan's Shah Deniz Field, SOCATR and BP said.

The final decision will be made in 2013.
