Georgian parliament to consider new government program

The new program will focus on improving family conditions, employment.
The PM will also present the new government.
The president will present the new PM and Cabinet on Tuesday. Parliamentary secretary Giya Khuroshvili said that it will be organized at the Bureau of Parliament.
An off-schedule session will be held to discuss the new Cabinet. The new government will be presented by Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili.
Defense Minister Bacho Akhalaya will take the position of Merabishvili as the Interior Minister. Secretary of the Georgian National Security Council Giga Bokeria will replace Akhalaya.
Spokesman of the parliamentary majority and head of the committee for legal issues Pavle Kublashvili said that the successful police reform of Merabishvili gives him a positive image. The official managed to rid the structure of corruption and crime.
Leader of the National Democratic Party Guram Chakhvadze said that the police chief would cope with unemployment and agricultural development as a successful reformer.
