Property of Bidzina Ivanishvili put up for auction

The National Executive Office of Georgia has announced an auction for
assets of various companies belonging to the leader of the opposition
coalition "Georgian Dream" Bidzina Ivanishvili.

The National Executive Bureau of Georgia told Trend that 100% of the shares
in Karta Groupe and a 21.7% stake in the Bank of Progress belonging to
Ivanishvili will be sold.

On June 26 the National Executive Bureau of Georgia arrested the
shares of Ivanishvili in three banks in the calculation of fines. In
case Ivanishvili manages to pay the sum of the fine, the auction will
be cancelled.
