Dagestan hosts mixed wrestling games of League of Caucasus

Khasavyurt has hosted the first International Tournament of the League of Caucasus for Mixed Wrestling at the Sports Palace of Gamid Gamidov, Dagestan TV Channel reports.

Syria, Tajikistan and Ukraine attended the rated matches.Umedullo Urfonov (Tajikistan) won the cup. Rinat Mustafayev failed to win two 5-minute rounds of the European Championship for Junior Sambo.

Magomed Al-Abdul (Syria), winner of the European Cup, from the sports club of Umakhanov and Oleg Miskhozhev (Kabardino-Balkaria) wrestled in the category of under 60 kg.

Bazarganov’s club won 3 out of 9 matches, Gaji Makhachev’s club and the Elbrus Club won 2 matches each.

Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan took part in rated matches as well. The next games will be held in Kabardino-Balkaria and Tajikistan.
