Chairman of Russian State Duma to visit Azerbaijan

The chairman of the Russian State Duma ( the lower chamber of parliament), Sergei Naryshkin, will visit Azerbaijan on July 8-9, Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin told Trend on Tuesday.

"It's an official visit of Naryshkin to the CIS countries. Azerbaijan is one of the first post-Soviet countries he will visit," the ambassador said.

This year, Azerbaijan and Russia celebrate the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations.
