New head of border guards and police appointed in Iranian West Azerbaijan

The head of Iranian police, General Ismail Ahmadi Mogadda, presented the
new head of border guards and police in the province of West Azerbaijan.
He said that all border posts will be equipped with the latest
technology, to prevent use of remote controlled bombs, Iran News
reports, citing IRNA.

He added that there is additional work being done on enforcing the
border control. Mogaddam said that West Azerbaijan needs the highest
attentions in terms of security.
