President of Armenian Football Federation leaves parliament after beating doctor

Ruben Ayrapetyan, a member of parliament and President of the Armenian Football Federation, announced his resignation from parliament, News Armenia reports.

Major Vage Avetyan of the medical service, the head of the ENT section of the Yerevan Garrison Hospital, and two of his colleagues were beaten up at the Arsnakar Restaurant of Ayrapetyan. According to unofficial information, Avetyan was beaten by the MPs security. The major died at the Central Clinical Hospital on Friday.
