Ashkhabad hosts Middle Asian media conference

OSCE opened the 14th Middle Asian Mass Media Conference in Ashkhabad on Thursday to discuss a switch from traditional to online media, Trend reports.

The two-day conference will see journalists, officials, international and regional experts, public and academic figures attend.

Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan will attend. They will discuss online media, broadcasting, tendencies in development of digital media and problems.

A master class for the regulation of online and social media will be included in the second day of the conference.
