Memorial to Stalin dismantled in Gori

A memorial to Joseph Stalin was dismantled last night at the central
square in Gori. According to Interfax, the memorial will be built at
the house-museum of Stalin several hundreds of meters away from the
square. The city mayor’s representative said that the square will be
named after the ‘heroes that died in the war with Russia in August
2008’.
