Golikova to control financial flows in Abkhazia and South Ossetia

The office of the presidential adviser on the socio-economicdevelopment of Abkhazia and South Ossetia has been created, based onthe need to establish control over financial flows in these republics,head of the Kremlin administration Sergei Ivanov told a pressbriefing, RIA Novosti reports.Ivanov said that Tatiana Golikova, having worked as Minister of Healthand Social Development and first deputy Finance Minister, is a greatcandidate for the office.He recalled that most residents of Abkhazia and South Ossetia areRussian citizens and are entitled to all the privileges and all thehelp that the rest of Russian citizens have.Golikova will primarily address the issues of construction of clinics,hospitals, roads and other public facilities and infrastructure,Ivanov said.
