Naryshkin: Russia and Azerbaijan have similar views on key issues of international life

Agreements reached between Azerbaijan and Russia set up a very positive tendency, the chairman of the State Duma, Sergei Naryshkin told at his official visit to Azerbaijan, Trend reports.

Naryshkin said that most extensive consultations and negotiations on issues of inter-parliamentary and inter-state cooperation took place.

"I must say that we generally have very similar and sometimes identical points of view on key issues of international life," - Naryshkin said.

The intellectual sphere of cooperation, according to Naryshkin, is a solid foundation for further development of relations between the two countries. "It is no accident that in the framework of the visit I had meetings with students, representatives of scientific and creative intelligentsia of Azerbaijan," - Naryshkin said.
