Iran to commemorate late painter Seyyed-Reza Shahabi

 

Iran is planning to commemorate the late painter, Seyyed-Reza Shahabi during a ceremony at Barg Art Gallery in the capital city of Tehran, Press TV reports.

The event will screen a documentary about the veteran painter and other artists will deliver speeches about his works and artistic background. 

Participants will also be able to see a collection of Shahabi’s works as well as photographs and documents related to his artistic life. 

Born in 1901in Tehran, Seyyed-Reza Shahabi practiced painting under the tutorship of renowned Iranian artist Mohammad Ghaffari, better known as Kamal-ol-Molk.
