Dick Advocaat refuses cash
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe former chief coach of the Russian national football team, Dick Advocaat, has denied information about his demands for wages for July, Sovetsky Sport reports.
The former coach admitted that he did receive a letter from the Russian Football Union demanding a report on his work at the UEFA European Championship. Advocaat said that he read the letter on Tuesday, but could not arrive on Thursday. The coach added that he may file a report via e-mail if necessary.
Earlier reports said that Dick Advocaat demanded 300,000 euros, according to contract, after failing to win in UEFA Euro-2012. He left the team and went from Eindhoven to coach Philips Sport Vereniging, although his contract expires on July 15.
