Sochi official charged with bribery

A functionary of the administration of the Tsentralny District of Sochi was caught for receiving a bribe of 100,000 rubles, RIA Novosti reports.

The functionary was supervising construction, roads and transport and garage construction. He offered a garage owner to pay him 100,000 rubles to avoid having the garage taken down. The official was reported to the police and caught receiving the bribe on July 9.

A functionary of the Lazarevsky District in Sochi was caught for receiving a bribe of 8 million last week. The woman promised businessmen no to appeal the possible positive court’s decision on knocking their buildings down.
