Ingushetia’s head cortege meets with accident: 3 killed

A car of the cortege of Ingushetia’s head has been involved in an accident in which three people lost their lives, ITAR-TASS reports, citing the law-enforcement agencies of the republic.

The accident took place at 17:00 at the Kavkaz federal highway near Gazi-Yurt. A VAZ 2110 occupied by three local residents crashed into a car of the cortege of Yunus-Bek Yevkurov. As a result, the driver of VAZ and his two passengers died.

According to preliminary data, the reason for the accident was that the VAZ drove into an oncoming traffic lane and crashed into the cortege car. Yevkurov wasn’t in the car.
