Azerbaijan won't rush into WTO

Azerbaijan will take its accession to the World Trade Organization slowly, Salam News reports.

The country will do its best to protect local industry, the head of the parliamentary commission for the economy, Ziyad Samedzade, told reporters in Baku.

"We shouldn't hurry. I support the idea of joining the WTO, but we shouldn't forget about our national interests," he said.
