Georgia issues license on activity of Turkish bank

An operating license has been given to IS bank (Turkey), the National Bank of Georgia told Trend.

The Turkish bank will open a branch in Batumi.

The National Bank said 19 Georgian commercial banks and three branches of foreign banks are currently operating in
Georgia.
