Iran allows arrested Azerbaijani poets to see relatives

The Azerbaijani Consulate General in Tabriz has received Iran’s permission for the two arrested poets to meet relatives, spokesman of the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elman Abdullayev said, APA reports.

The Azerbaijani consul met Iranian officials, including the governor of the Eastern Azerbaijan Province, on July 15-17.

Abdullayev noted that Iran has not given reasons for the arrest yet.
