Turnout at referendum in Kyrgyzstan exceeds 50%

More than half of the citizens of Kyrgyzstan with a right to vote have taken part in the referendum on the new constitution of the republic, Interfax reports, with reference to the Central Electoral Commission of Kyrgyzstan.
Observers have not registered any violations.
