Mexico urges diplomacy on Iranian nuclear problem
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaMexican Deputy Foreign Minister Lourdes Aranda Bezaury has called for the continuation of talks between Iran and six major world powers (P5+1), stressing that Iran's nuclear energy issue should be settled through negotiations, Press TV reports.
In a meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Mexico City Jalal Kalantari on Saturday, Bezaury said Iran's nuclear energy dossier should be sent from the United Nations Security Council back to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
“It is necessary for Iran's nuclear energy issue to be resolved at the International Atomic Energy Agency,” she added.
She also expressed her country’s readiness to discuss ways to bolster cooperation with Iran.
