Iran plans intensive studies in Gulf

Iran plans some of the most intensive chemical, physical and geological studies in the Gulf region, starting in the Strait of Hormuz in September, Trend cites Vahid Chegini, head of the National Oceanology Service of Iran.

Studies will take 18 months. Not a single coastal state of the Gulf has made such grand studies so far.
