Department of State: Iranian nuclear program worries all American political forces
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaAmerican politicians treat the Iranian nuclear program the same regardless of which of the two political parties in the USA they belong to, and internal circumstances do not influence this, including the presidential elections, Trend cites the press secretary of the US State Department, Alan Air.
The presidential elections in the US will take place in November 2012.
Some experts believe that Barack Obama is too careful in relations with Iran.
According to Air, the concern about the Iranian nuclear program is shared by all political forces of the US and representatives of the international community. In other words, it is not about “enmity” between Iran and the United States, but concerns about a real threat to the US, he said.
“Implementation of duties required of Iran by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty will diminish concerns about its nuclear program on the part of the international community. In this regard, the US and members of “the Six” have no disagreements,” he said.
